I think my favorite part, as side from the fireworks, is all the programs they have on TV about the fight for independence. I like PBS, especially. I realize that we all don't understand what our for fathers went through to to obtain freedom. Most of the people today wouldn't do what they did. I think most people now days just don't care. They figure that it was something in the history books. They don't realize that they were real people. They got up every morning, ate breakfast, went to the outhouse ect. Got out every day and earned there living, all be it under much harder circumstances. These were REAL PEOPLE!!!!! Why can't U realize this.

It's a different world now and we have those men to thank for it. I just don't think anybody cares.

It's just PATHETIC what we've become. LAZY SPOILED ROTTEN BRATS!!!!

When the Star Spangled Banner is played at displays, and everyone stands with their hand on their heart out of respect and appreciation for the freedom that's taken for granted so much of the time.

I don't like it because I am Puerto Rican and the USA doesn't recognize our right to be an independent nation

I have some fireworks.... IN MY PANTS!

Seriously, I have some in my pockets and I'm going to take them out and light them. I didn't mean to say anything that was inappropriate.
