Gas Cooker Hose?

When fitting a new natural gas cooker hose, is it best to use PTFE tape or jointing compound on the cooker end of the fitting.

    it is always best to get a CORGI registered plumber in, in my experience. This guarantees your house will still be standing at 18.00 today, and prevents lengthy, expensive ongoing legal disputes from newly homeless neighbours.
