Is Bill Gates the spawn of Satan?

I went into a shop the other day to buy my son a video game. On the shelves I found games for the PC, for the PS3, PS2 and the XBox 360. Guess how many there were for the original XBox.

None. Not one single game.

If Sony can let you buy games for their old system (and from what I've seen they are even releasing some new ones), why can't Microsoft?

Obviously I know the answer is profit - they want you to buy their new system - but honestly, what happened to looking after your customers?

Unlikely, Bill Gates is the son of William and Mary Gates who are unafilliated with Satan.

With regards to your comment, perhaps it is the shop keepers, who are to blame for not continuing to order new xbox games or old stock for people to view.

The PS3 JUST came out. Xbox 360 has been out for over 18 months.

Whilst developers are still making a few last games for the PS2, the Xbox stopped being supported some time back as developers moved onto the new platform. You'll see the same happen to the PS2 games in the next few months.

I suppose it would be nice if game shops still took up shelf space for SNES games... unfortunately it doesn't work that way.

It has nothing to do with bill gates or microsoft - its really just the lack of demand for the original xbox now. Ps2 is only just beginning to die now because it had a wider user base than xb1 due to the hype rolled over from ps1 as well as the fact it was out first. Most developers want to concentrate on new hardware as quickly as possible to enable them to gain experience developing with new systems, often at the expense of old ones. The fact it is hard to buy these games in shops is just another effect of low demand levels ie. low prioriety stock levels

Yeah tell me about it. If they wanted more customers then they should sell at two levels: The people with the Xbox and the people with the 360. Its stupid because so many people still use the Xbox nowadays.
