If people don't agree with your beliefs (...like religion, politics, abortion...), does it upset you?

Heavens, no...and I don't try to sway them to my p.o.v.
I have some of the most interesting conversations with folks who don't share my exact opinions. And I always learn something new!

For a while, yes.
The answer is absolutely personal. By belief system is not having a belief system. My religion is humanity. I am against abortions (conditionally) for i believe in "AHIMSA", non-violence. Now when i share my views, i do it for the betterment of everybody. My words belong to my heart. So i get upset at times. But i know that opinions of people keep changing. Today's "NO" can become tomorrow's "YES" and viz. Just the awareness of "Everything is changing" including the thoughts and opinions, bring me back to the centre, the source. I come out of that state of mind of being upset. Now, it happens occasionally.
The truth is "CHANGE". And the "YOU" in you is not changing. So How can somebody upset "YOU" ?

Upset me? No. Besides the age old sentiment stating that opinions are like a**holes and that everybody's got one, if whoever's (mistakenly, of course) disagreeing with me resorts to ugliness or is, in any way rude, well, I just think, consider the source.
Clue: To those who ask, answer, or even just make comments-Misspelling even three letter words, or misusing single words, phrases, terms, and really sh***y grammar skills doesn't exactly identify you as any sort of intelligent respondant and I wouldn't go holding my breath for that application for membership to Mensa to arrive any time soon.

No, I hate forcing beliefs on people. You can believe what you believe. I just don't like when people make rude comments on beliefs they don't agree with. It's offending. And it's stupid. And mostly, it's corny. =p

No, it only upsets me if they insist on trying to prove their way is the only way.
