I need new tires and I'm thinking of getting Goodyear Wranglers. Any other suggestions??

Most importantly--It's YOUR Jeep Liberty. The tires are not for IT; however, they are for what YOU do "WITH IT".
I would recommend you consult a "tire guy" about some features and benefits of the Wrangler or Fortera (gdy), Cross-terrain (mmi), Geolandar (yok), Revo AT (bri). Do look @ the 245/70-16 or 245/65-17 depending on your equipment.
Here is where you can find one:

I hate to give any credit to the French, but they certainly have better tires than Goodyear. The BF Goodrich Radial Long Trail T/A has been the latest and the greatest tire to land on my Grand Cherokee. This Jeep sees very little off road action and high way sensibility was my main goal in picking this tire. Very Good performance in snow, sleet, and rain. These tire performed much better than the OEM Goodyear Wrangler AP and the Wrangler AT/Ds I had put on a bit later.
If you need a little more aggressive tire, I recommend going directly to the BF Goodrich AT/KO. The tires were well built (unlike my Goodyear Wrangler AT/S's which would occassionally shed a lug off road) and they provide serious traction in a multitude of road and trail conditions. They were not wonderful in the snow like the Long Trail, but these are not snow tires, but true All Terrain tires. The AT/KO make very little road noise for such an aggressive tire and provved to be the best bang for my buck on my Jeep Wrangler.
Hope this helps and good luck in your tire search.
