You get better deals on line. Sometimes you can even get it cheaper. If you go to your providers store, sometimes they will tell you to go on line for all the deals.

Buying online is great just because you get way better deals. But be careful. Make sure you have at least checked out the phone in person, because when you get it, it might not be what you expected. My friend bought a phone online, by only reading the manufacturer reviews, and when she got it she hated it. So if you can go to the store, check it out see if you like the look and feel of the phone, because sometimes pictures and reviews arent always best.

I feel its better to buy online than in a store because online you might have a better selection depending on which service you are with. However, if you're in a store you would probably get more of your questions answered about the phone and be able to barter, vs getting all of your info about the phone from the site and if that's not enough having to look other places online so find answers.

If you're just shopping around because you don't know what phone you like yet, check them out at the store so you can see what they feel like in your hand. But online retailers offer much better selection and better prices.

A store can generally only offer you phones from one carrier, but online resellers can help you compare phones and plans across ALL carriers, so that you can get a better deal.

Online dealers have lower prices because they have less overhead, so their own costs are much lower than the store. They pass those savings on to you.

I think its better to buy it at the store because everything online might not have the same information as it would in the store and it could be cheaper and you could probably get a better deal in the store. Good Luck!

You might find a better deal on a phone online, but be sure to confirm with your local cell phone service provider(s) that they can accommodate & activate the type of cell phone you buy.

Online. Many phones bought online come with online discounts that are like $170. Go to the store for information, but all in all, buy online. You'll also get unbiased information online.

Most wireless company websites will offer similar deals as in the retail stores for the major carriers.

If you buy from ebay, or some other retailer, you might need to check to see if they are an authorized retailer.

Better to buy it from a reputable dealer. If you have problems with it, then you will have someone to take your phone to get the problem taken care of. You have no customer support if you buy it online.
