Who do you think will die in the final Harry Potter book Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows?

i dont know but if you like some harry potter carathers then please read my fanfiction it is my first one and i would like to know what people think and if i should keep on writing

I was the same way! I didnt get hooked until after the first movie. Then I couldnt stop reading. I really hope Harry doesnt die in the final book. I think it would be a poor choice on Rowlings part. So many younger children look at harry as an icon and it would leave them all with a bitter feeling about the entire series if she did it.

Anyway, I just preordered my copy, so i cant wait to find out!! :) If you guys havent preordered yours yet, id recommend it since a lot of places might sell out quickly. The below link has a preorder for it at a really good price. its discounted a lot from the list price.

Snape will die right after Harry finds out for sure which side he is on. He has to play both sides, but I believe he is no longer the Death Eater he appears to be. Dumbledore knew Snape had made the unbreakable promise to Draco's mother, knew his time had come to an end. In his mysterious meeting with Snape, Dumbledore told him he had to go through with it. It was "planned".

Voldemort will die. Just because Rowling is not writing any more Potter books does not mean that Harry will die.

In my opinion, it's Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort that will die!

Harry's death: He is the main character, and wouldn't it be more dramatic and emotionally sad if he dies and may be how he dies?. Maybe he might sacrifice himself to kill Voldemort. And in fact, if he survives, then world wouldn't be as fair for other boys. Coz every girls would be in love with him..in the wizardy world.

Voldemort's death: Somehow, Voldemort will have to die. Why? Coz HE IS THE MAIN antagonist. The whole series was about him and Harry. Right? And it was all about killing Voldemort, right? So he will have to die. But his death might be very dramatic. Like Harry sacrificing to killl him.

I think Dumbledor and Snape planned the whole thing out. I think Dumbledor didn't die. Coz in his final times, Dumbledor trusted Snape the most and with his heart..And in fact, isn't he the greatest wizard? So he must have known what he was doing..And made a new trick, that would require to say "Avada Kadavra" or something.

And maybe, Ron and Hermione might marry in the future. And you know, in the book, they might talk about Harry when they are older..And have a baby, and call him Harry. So it would be like Harry Weasley..lol..Hope mine helped you.

I think she intended to kill off Harry all along. She's obviously known because she's been working the plot of the series up to this point since the beginning. She said recently that she ended up killing off two characters she didn't except to initially. I hope it's not Ron and Hermione. I hope they get to go on and tell Harry's story and do good work against evil as he would have do if he survives. I also think that if Harry is a Horcrux (which he probably is) he will kill himself off and then maybe together Ron and Hermione will finish Voldemort off. But I can only guess who these two characters will be. Maybe Hagrid or McGonagall or Neville or Ginny... I just don't know. I don't think anyone's going to be able to tell at this point.

I think that Voldemort will of course die, but I dont know if Rowling counts him as one of the main characters. If she doest I think that the people with the highest chance of dying are Harry, Ron, McGonagall, and Hagrid. I also agree with you about Snape. Me and my friend have a theory that he had an unbreakable vow with Dumbledore to do whatever he must in order to protect Harry and keep the Orders secrets. I figure thats probably what they were arguing about when Hagrid overheard

Sadly, I think it may be dear Harry who gets killed in the last book. I am PRAYING that it won't be, but I think it just might. Other than that I am not sure. I think Snape might die, Wormtail, and Voldemort of course! Maybe Mad-Eve, hopefully not Lupin. I am really excited to find out!!

She has to kill off Harry because that way she can never be forced to write another book...and she said that 7 is enough. I also think that Voldemort will die because no book can let the bad guys win (eg. kill Harry and so can never die) in the end.

I'm going to go with harry and voldemort..obviously. But there are more than just 2 charecters dying. I also think fred and george, hagrid, and possible ron will die... along with many others...I'm also thinkin a hamlet type ending..everyone dies so she can't write about them anymore...

Harry and Voldemort. I think either Harry will sacrifice himself to kill Voldemort, or to make room for someone (aka Snape- at least in my opinion) to kill him. JK Rowling will probably kill Harry so that no one else can write about him.

She said major character, but that doesn't necessarily mean that two of the trio will die.

I definitely think that one of the Weasley's will die. There's so damn many of them. I for one hope it's Percy...

And I think Snape will die, trying to save Harry...

Guess we'll find out soon...I for one am not gonna put that book down till I finish it.
