How can I find affordable accommodation in Dubai for a holiday?

Just look through the internet pages to find whatever deals are available. A couple of things to watch for - there is a huge amount of construction going on, so when I stayed at a "quiet beachfront hotel" I found there were over 70 high rise apartment blocks going up all around us. It was a hotel in the middle of a massive construction site.

Dubai has many festivals, exhibitions and special events. Hotels increase their prices for these, so the room rate can change dramatically from one day to the next.

You tend to get what you pay for - a cheap hotel may be just that. If you don't mind a budget city centre hotel, try Admiral Plaza, upscale, you may get a deal at a Sheraton.

As someone has said,keep trawling the internet, you may find something but if you want to include flights as well, you may get a better all in deal at a late stage. However,Dubai is an expensive place - there are many other resorts around the world more affordable.

Ive been a few times for winter sun, but its not ideal for a holiday there are far better and cheaper places you can go.

However, you can stay in an apartment in Dubai which is cheaper than hotels, try Expedia they do cheap deals. If you want mega cheap then go in our Summer as its so hot there hardly anyone goes.

Just keep searching on the internet - you're bound to find lots. Try for last minute deals, late booking etc. www.tripadvisor.com is a good website for candid reviews of hotels from people that have actually stayed there.

Chk Oasis court Hotel aparment and Moon valley hotel apartment both are quite gud and located in prime location - Burdubai. The cost starts fm $100 + airport transportation+ complimentary breakfast+gym+pool. I know this much as I recently enquired it for my fiance'

I'm actually goin with family on the 23rd july, just booked it this week,i booked through a website called holidaygenie, this is after ringing many places.

i've been before and loved it and found that if you keep phoning around, and give them agencies a budget most likely they will stick to it.

In the past i've booked through ebookers, travelbag and holidaygenie.

we stayed in Deira. its next to Jumeira. Jumeira is very expensive, but worth it. We stayed in Golden Sands Hotel 3. It was a decent and clean hotel and price was ok too. ideal for business, family and singles holiday. they had a pool and gym there too.

Not sure........its all expensive in my experience.

Anyway, why would you want to go to Dubai on holiday? Its not a very good place to go on holiday.
