How Can I sell My 88' buick car when i dont have a pink slip?
I have an older car and i would like to craigslist or even ebay it for very cheap. Problem is i dont have the pink slip to the vehicle and can anyone else tell me or give me some advise ive tried looking on the dmv web site but no help

Pink slip??? you mean title? Fill out an application for the dmv in your state for a duplicate title. the cost for that should be on your dmv website. send it in and they will send you a new one . if the record was purged due to it being so old they will ask for the VIN tracing from your car. then they will recreate the record and send you a title. and sending them a letter asking them to rush it wont help. the mailroom throws that stuff out.

If you don't have a title, you can't sell it since legal ownership can't be established. The DMV should be able to do a title search, if you provide them the VIN#

The paperwork needs to be processed by the DMV. You need to have the title to be able to sell it, unless it is already in the system and you can do a "lost title" affadavit. You may want to ask the DMV for a fast way if you have a hot buyer.

Well, you might be able to get a title drawn up, check with a lawyer, some people might buy it without a title but not for very much.

See your congressman he will help you get a new title for it will need VIN number and registration and will take about a week.
