I'm sorry, but I'm not sure I know what you're asking exactly. Could you clarify a bit?

If you're asking what you need to do to make Internet friends, then let me just say to be careful, first and foremost. I have some friends from the Internet...good ones that I've had for years and one I actually gave my real home phone number to and we send Birthday cards every year even 6 years later. I met her in a chat room and she's one of my best friends in the world.

However, you most likely already know how dangerous the Internet can be. Male or female, the dangers are almost equal in that regard because many predators lurk in the most unassuming places, especially for the young.

If you're really looking to make friends, pick a subject you are highly interested in and find a regulated chat room about that subject. Make up an untraceable name for that place, be careful what you tell in the room and just say hello and see what happens. You might not make friends very fast, but in time it'll come if you get along with others there. If you do'nt get along with the people there, or if there is violent talk going on, just leave and find another one.

I don't recommend looking for friends on the Internet, but if you want them bad enough, you'll keep searching until you find them, so I hope something I said helps you gain what you seek safely.

    Good luck.

  • Why is it so hard to understand motivation of thought on the internet?

I think you seem to have managed to confuse yourself with that first question. Motivation, is a way of expressing the reason or intention behind actions not thoughts i.e. motivation is the reason or thought why we do something not an action.

If you refer to thinking about consciousness, you'll realise that thinking is not optional. You do it all the time, whether you want to or not. Therefore motivation does not apply to thoughts.

Now if you asked what motivates people to share their thoughts, i.e. communicate, using the internet? I too am really interested in why people prefer the internet in some cases for expressing themselves...

The internet is not exactly the best place to establish any type of "true" connection with anyone. It's so easy for people to be dishonest about so many things. However if your looking for some kind of anything on the internet, the best answer is to simply just be who you are internet or not.

I am not sure I understand from the question what you are really expecting?!

I think that most people on Answers are not here to make friends particularly, but there are a number of reasons they are here. Some are just wasting a few minutes & like to annoy people (see the first answer to this question), some genuinely like helping people & it gives them a warm glow to do it - but I am not entirely sure this is a platform for making deep & meaningful relationships!

i don't understand your question. in case you ask human beings questions, inclusive of in this website, peoples motivation in answering would be a lot comparable to yours, nonetheless some would be doing it for factors, and a few attempting to be powerful. i'd advise hence that everywhere on the information superhighway, different peoples motives are comparable. you could desire to ask questions, and you could desire to be careful, it incredibly is an identical once you meet human beings on your primary existence. There are some human beings waiting to con us, on the information superhighway, or off it. Sorry it incredibly isn't any longer a stable answeer via fact i don't understand the question.

I believe that in any sort of communication there is a chance to build relationships, unfortunately, we have become more and more cynical regarding others that use this type of communication.

I for example, enjoy reading and answering questions, it a good way to gain knowledge, see what others think and talk to others if they want to.
