It's not easy, My wife and I have been married for fifty years, together for fifty five years.
We've been through hell together. Anyone that say they've never had a fight is lying. It just doesn't happen.
I wont know what to do is she goes. We're both involved in the church, we believe in Jesus promise that if we believe, we will be saved.
We will live like we always have, near the Church and God. Our children are like most today, to busy to even visit.
I said good-bye to my folks, we were close and, several baby grand daughters, it was hard, it always is. Life has been good I can't complain. I did die on the table having a heart attack, it took several moments to bring me back they said. It's a comfortable feeling, like going to sleep. I am not afraid.
I was shot twice in 'Nam, I was buried alive in a sand pit, unconcious when they pulled my out. I've had my nine lives, there just ain't no more left.

What are you asking here? How heavy is this question? If you mean as in death, we have no choice but to let go...what else can you do? Every minute spent in grief is a minute wasted. Waste the minutes in little chunks, not big time blocs. Sooner or later, the memories turn to smiles, not grief. That is the way of life.

While I was terribly sad, I said good bye to my brother at his funeral and at the grave site.
I looked at old photos and videos to help me remember what he looked like. I saved some things that belonged to him. I still have his guitar. I have a tape of his voice.
But as a Christian I know that we just buried his body and that his spirit is in heaven. This is comforting also, knowing, hoping that I will see him again. He is just on a long journey.

sad, sad way
Of completing a

it sound like what you are taking about is dieing.. there is nothing harder than letting go.. i have had to with my dad and my father in law, sister a brother in law.. because i know that one day i will see them again it is easier for me.. i pour out my love to them by being there and loving them. is it really us saying goodbye? i think it them. letting go is what is hard we are going to miss them we are going to hurt.. i know where they are going is a wonderful place and they will be at peace.. this is why so many people get mad at a love one for leaving. i wish them well and tell them to say hello to our grandmothers and aunts that have pass before us.. to look out after me and keep me safe.. and help me to deal with the pain of losing them.. i tell them i will see them soon and to make sure there is a room for me in my father house.. it helps to get pass this and to heal faster.. i am sorry that you are having a hard time letting go.. i will pray for you

it's also too bad that you have no capability of spelling either. I had to say G-O-O-D-B-Y-E (correct spelling one word e a the end of by) to both of my parents and move on with my life when they died. My mother went first and I had to be strong for my daddy then when he passed I gave in to the tears and the sorrow of both of them and then got on with my life.

have lost both parents and wife. their physical bodies are not here on this plane of existence but their spirits live on in those who are still on this plane. when my time comes to leave this plane the same will be true for me. as long as one person remembers then the departed are never forgotten.

Always, always, say, "I love you", when ending a telephone conversation with a loved one. It may be the last time you speak to them. My second daughter has been telling me I love you on the bottom of letters for years. We talk each day. She always tells me she loves me before she hangs up. Makes my day.

let them all that is on your mind and settle all differences. that gives you a clear mind. see them off to where you part and then you can have that place as a memorable meeting place.

Be composed, serene and pray for the departed soul! Prayer will help you, even if it may not help the departed soul!
