What do you think is the "dirtiest job in the world"?
I would have to say cleaning the sewage, but I am curious as to what everyone else thinks.

I don't think it's the "dirtiest" job in the world, but I don't know how someone could be a pathologist. I am so grossed out by dead bodies. I don't know how people handle the smell! I can't even watch Dr. G. medical examiner, eventhough I find it interesting how she figures out how someone died.

Politics! Also cleaning up crime scenes where murders have taken place. In big cities, there are specific companies whose job it is to eliminate all the blood and gore. Of course the personnel wear masks, gloves, and hazmat suits. I could not handle that job for any amount of money. Ditto cleaning out sewage tanks. Gross.

Similar to this, but there's actually a job that requires diving into sewage and other hazardous waste. Imagine swimming around in that stuff.

Orangutan-Pee Collector - What they do: Collect and analyze ape urine to study factors that effect their reproduction. The work involves tracking down apes and laying down large plastic sheets or attaching plastic bags to poles in hopes of catching adequate samples to analyze... According to CNN, Manure Inspector was at the top of the list of dirtiest science jobs, but I thought that orangutan pee collector sounded more interresting..

I would recommend watching the show "Dirty Jobs" on the Discovery channel. It is absolutely hilarious...and there is a lot of cool stuff on there. The dirtiest one that I have seen was probably making flower pots of of manure. It was disgusting, but funny!

I was thinking sewage too! I think anything having to do with sh*t is nasty. Growing mushrooms, farm work, all that.
