i work at a headstart-imake 10.50 an hour-not much for a four year degree-at the age level i work with its 14 to1-child ratio.the children are my favorite part.the vast majority of teachers i like-not all i plan ahead so that can be prepared and the children stay interesed and also its required.

If you are in it for the right reasons ,the reward is much more than dollars, I did day care and the most important part was circle time, where the kids get a chance to express there feels , share news , and talk about things that happened
at the dinner table, on the ride to and from school , additions to there family such as a pet, new baby , or toy. make everything important to kids,they will feel comfortable.

Those answers depend on what state you are certified in and also whether or not the pre-school in part of the public school system or a privately owned and operated pre-school.

depending where you work ,what state you work in, the age group you work with, and and and .
I work with 4_5 year old children and I get them ready for private school i have 10 children daily, i just got uses to it and cant stop working there ,Im used to the people i work with and the parents ,and my pay is $640 and sometimes i work more i get more.

I make $600 an hour. Honestly...I do.
But that's just because of the exchange rate. I teach in Taiwan. It's not as much when you convert it to US Dollars ;-)
I'll answer in more detail later. I need to go get dinner. But wanted to throw that out there. One of the few reasons I can say my salary looks big.
