What is the name and artist of this painting?

In the movie "Da Vinci Code" right near the end, Langdon is outside the Louvre with the thought in his mind "adorned in masters' loving art she lies".. and just then the camera flashes to a painting containing the face of a beautiful woman.. I'm wondering what the name and who is the artist of that painting..

(I'm assuming it is a painting in the Louvre)

Thanks!

Update:

It's definitely not "madonna of the rocks"... I just looked at it again and here is a more illuminating description:

The woman has long brown hair, her eyes are cast downward, and she is dressed in orange or red with a white scarf tied into a knot at her left shoulder. On her left is a bearded man and on her right is an older woman who looks a bit like a nun. The woman in red is holding a child that appears to be naked (at least from the waist up).. and there is another child to her left looking at the child she is holding. I cannot tell for sure but it would appear as if the painting is outdoors, as it seems as if there are mountains in the distance.

Hope this helps!

Update 2:

Good idea! Here is a screencapture of the painting!

It's difficult to say who the painter is, because we need visual information to know.

For your description I can say it's a scene of Joseph, Maria and Jesus, with St Anne and John The Baptist.

Leonardo has a drawing with that theme, but doesn't fit you description as it doesn't have colors and it's at the national gallery in London.

If you could take a pic of the movie and upload it we could definitely find out.

Thanks for uploading the pic, that was easier...

It's by Agnolo Bronzino (a.k.a. Angelo Bronzino)

the holy family with st anne and st john the baptist

woohoo, at least I was correct at the theme!

and yes, it's in the louvre

    :)

I like Bronzino a lot. You have good taste! :D

Pop paintings could be a good form to paint the pony in, so artists like andy Lichenstein could be good. bright colorings and somewhat exciting. in basic terms seek it on google to work out some techniques.

It has been a while since I have seen that movie but I thought it was Madonna on the Rocks by DaVinci-I will have to watch it again and let you know if its something different-in the meantime-try looking that one up to see it is the right one.
