You know when I read this question it was like one of those "No Duh" questions that makes one think why has no one asked that before.
I honestly think the concept of Satan is much like the concept of the boogy-man used to scare little children and little minds into submitting to someone else's control. For those who are christians and believe in the teachings of Jesus you should be praying for Satan's soul everyday. Right? Then with out Satan there would be no one to tempt mankind into sin right? With out sin we would all be living in paradise. Isn't that how it is supposed to be?
Of course that is not how any Christian wants it to be. Satan is the proverbial "scape goat" for people, so they do not have to take responsibility for their actions. With out the bad guy what would anyone need the good guy for? If there is no sin then what would we need churches, priest or preachers for?
Satan is a metaphor for ignorance, hate, bigotry, lies, etc, etc, all the negative aspects of human and God is the metaphor for all the good aspects. In that light then we all have the choice to be God like or Satan like in every thing we do. The key word is choice, with choice comes responsibility and that seems to be beyond many people.
So bless Satan that he may find the path to redemption so all these christians can no longer blame Satan for the evil they do.

Satan cannot be saved. When he rebelled against God he sealed his own fate. Remember, Satan was an Angel and cannot be redeemed like human beings can. He saw God and knew him, but chose to turn against him anyway. Angels do not get a choice, they either obey God or they suffer the consequences. We already know Satan's ultimate end. Revelation says that it is in the Lake of Fire with the AntiChrist and the False Prophet.

It seems to me that you have your own personal Jesus because you pick and choose what favors you. You begin your question in doubt that Satan exists. If you do not believe the entire Bible as the word of God then you do not believe any of it because it's eitehr all or part. Satan does exist, there is good and evil, it is up to God to end Satan's time and not for us to pray for his salvation. None of us can save the other, we can not even save ourselves. It is up to Satan to believe and choose his own faith.

Salvation of Satan, huh? No, and this is due to the fact that Satan has no desire to experience salvation. Salvation only comes when a person repents...a thing the devil will never do. Jesus said, If ye do not repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

Adam and his descendants were created in the image of God. God made us in his image or the same species. Angels are a different specie. Satan is a fallen angel. Satan cannot be saved, and is father to all that follow him. All humans who follow Satan will go to HELL.

Prayer fails equally with False Gods or False Demons...
Pray: To ask the laws of the universe to be annulled on behalf of a single petitioner confessedly unworthy. -- Ambrose Bierce

You mean pray for Satan as we do for sinners?
Why not? Surely even Satan deserves to find this famed 'truth' and this 'goodness'.
