Can we please have a carbon neutral Live Earth concert...?

What for? I'm just glad it's over. Every decade we have to suffer through a group of multi-millionaires trying to ease their collective conscience over their excessive lifelong greed by inventing some useless effort to fight the cause du jour.

Hands across America, We are the World, Farm Aid, Live Aid, Live Earth...how have any of these had any effect on the problems they intend to help vs the boost they get to their own careers?

Only if you buy a crapload of carbon credits. Because I'm pretty sure all the trucks that moved all that crap to and from the stadiums were powered by DIESEL. Not to mention the electricity.

But it was entertainment. We need entertainment. If you want to go live in a no-electricity or running water shack and grow your own food, be my guest. I like my freedom and don't care what my footprint is.

Nor will I give Gore my money to displace my footprint onto someone else so I can "feel green."
