How to charge for an editing project...?

My boss wants me to do some editing for he web pages that he is designing, but as asked me several times what I charge. I really don't know, what is the going rate for editing? Do you charge by the word or by the page? Should I charge a base fee plus the word/page fee?? Thanks

    Charge per hour...

    1 hour = $25.00

minimum of 1 hour per edit.

    over 2 hours .....20 / hour.

Or you can calculate all the changes needed and charge a flat rate of 200 bucks..if all of it only takes 1 day to complete..

That would be considered cheap if your actually writing html code, not just editing text.

Just editing text would be cheaper ...like 15/hr.
