Looks to me like mostly more of the same, especially in the AFC.
AFC East - New England (12-4) - Head and shoulders above the rest of the division
AFC North - Baltimore (11-5) - Defense gives Ravens edge over Steelers and Bengals
AFC South - Indianapolis (13-3) - In a walk; how can you pick against Peyton Manning?
AFC West - San Diego (12-4) - Denver will be better, but not enough better
NFC East - Philadelphia (10-6) - Dallas could break through,
but (a healthy) McNabb gives Philly the edge
NFC North - Chicago (11-5) - Everybody else will be better, but Bears still the class of division
NFC South - New Orleans - (12-4) - Once again, no one else close
NFC West - San Francisco - (10-6) - This division will be a dog fight; depends on SF's and St. Louis's defenses and Seattle's offense; edge to the Niners based on young talent
Of course, all this is predicated on no one suffering crippling injuries (e.g., Patriots lose Brady, Colts lose Manning), which nearly always happens to someone.

AFC East - New England Patriots (15-1): Let's face it, Tom Brady just has too many weapons now, and the defense looks scarier than ever. One question: Could anyone possibly have a worse offseason than Buffalo just did?
AFC West - San Diego Chargers (12-4): Jay Cutler is promising but not quite ready yet, and it will take more than just a few months to establish chemistry from the completely overhauled roster in Oakland. The Chargers have the most continuity, but will slip just a little due to coaching changes. Unless the Chiefs figure out a way to bring LJ back, they will most certainly be in the running for next year's number one draft pick.
AFC North - Cincinnati Bengals (11-5): Baltimore will miss Adelius Thomas more than they think, but they will still wrap up a wildcard berth. Cleveland had a great offseason, but it'll take at least another season of experience to get them back into contention. Let's all say this together, Ben Roethlisberger is OVERRATED, and so are the Steelers.
AFC South - Indianapolis Colts (12-4): Yes, they will drop off a little bit, but no one else in the AFC South will even come close to challenging them this year.
NFC East - New York Giants (10-6): This will probably be the most competitive division in the NFL. No team has established clear dominance, and none will for at least a few years yet. The Eagles had some good opportunities in the offseason, but thanks to their pathetic draft it's one step forward, two steps back. Big D will be known for its defense this year, which will abruptly take the spotlight off of TO...another series of temper tantrums perhaps? Expect Eli Manning to finally put together a season worth remembering and lead this young team to the division title.
NFC West - St. Louis Rams (10-6): To win in the NFL you must be able to run the ball. Bravo to Ken Wisenhunt for implementing his 'run first' philosophy in Arizona, but without a solid offensive line it's kind of hard to establish a consistent running game. I'd like to believe that Shaun Alexander is the same Pro Bowl running back from two years ago, but let's face it, the Madden curse has already run its course. The 49ers will probably squeak out a wildcard berth.
NFC North - Chicago Bears (10-6): Even though Rex Grossman is arguably one of the worst quarterbacks in the NFL, that Bears defense remains dominant to say the least. The Packers and Vikings made some positive strides in the offseason and might make things interesting for the offensively challenged Bears. The Lions won't win 10 - 13 games and Kitna probably won't last the entire season.
NFC South - New Orleans (12-4): It's a great time to be a Saints fan. You'll find more competition in drunken bumper bowling than in the NFC South right now. I guess that's what happens when a good team finds itself in the worst division in the NFL.

The Bears, um wait, DA BEARS (my favorite team ever) are going to make it to the playoffs yet again. For two consecutive years we have been the NFC divisional champs and came very close to being undefeated last year.. until we played the f***ing Dolphins. How can you be a Bear and lose to a sea mammal?! ughhh!! I think we should try out Griese this time around. It's sad when you can compare the ratings of your QB with Eli Manning and they are very close in similarity.
I love my Bears so we will definitely be Divisional champs and only lose two games. For the AFC North, the divisional champs will probably be the Ravens.
Food for thought: The team is STEELERS not Stealers

**** all them other teams. It's between the Rams, Panthers, Saints
Source(s): Nobody's going to break LT's record, Reggie Bush is going to get more than 9 TD, Devin Hester is probably going to move in a different position. - Anonymous1 decade ago
