Why isn't Crespo recognized more than any of the world's greats?

Question

He scores a lot, and better than Maradona he doesnt cheat and is a sportsman. Hes the 2nd most expensive player of all time. His transfer fee was £37,000,000 from Parma to Lazio. Yet hes never compared to any one of the greats. As a Chelsea fan, Chelsea should be sorry they lost him, because he was better than Shevchenko and Drogba.

It is probably because he has never won a world cup like Mardona.Also the Italian Series A does not get as much attention as the Premiership and Spanish Liga

Because he is ''only'' good finisher, that means that he must have very good midfield that they can create an opportunity for him to score a goal, not like Henry or Ronaldo when they pass two or three opponents and score ....... he is maybe good as Drogba, but when Shevchenko was in Milan he was the best striker in Europe!!!!!

Claiming he's "better than Maradona" is a total joke. If he was still any good, he'd be a regular in the Argentina team, and he isn't any more.

Apparently he's not very well liked by his team-mates, he's a bit of a big-head and a trouble maker. That may be why Chelsea got rid of him.
