Hot Swappable Hard Drives (IDE for 5.25" bay) recommendations?
I want a hot swappable Hard Drive Bay on the front of my computer, somthing that I can put a HDD into a tray/enclosure and then insert into the 5.25" bay Similar to those found on Servers
preferably I want it to be black and look good
how is the performance on these things compared to a regular internal HDD
I have never used SATA drives before, right now all I have IDE (can you have a mix? is it just as easy?)

You will need something like this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8...
This is for SATA drives. Stick with SATA drives, they can "talk" to the board faster than an IDE, plus it is easier to set up a raid array and are hot swappable.
There are other types of hot swap drive cages, there are internal and external. 3.5" and 5.25", some that hold multiple drives and some that hold single drives.
Just check out other options at Newegg, just search "hot swap"

forget 320 gb hard drives . now youcan easily get 1 tetra byte external USB hard drives and it is better to buy 1TB as i bought 80 GB just 3 years ago which is become now redundant
