BluRay movies on Regular TV, image quality?

I just purchased a PS3, and since I (still) don't have a HD TV (I have a regular Sharp TV), my question is:

Is there going to be an improvement on image quality when I play BlueRay movies on my regular TV when compared to regular DVDs?

I know I should get an HDTV to get the full package, but I just want to know if there's going to be an improvement for the time being with my current setup.

Thanks

If by "regular Sharp TV" you mean a 20" or 27" set, you aren't going to see any noticeable difference at all. If you're only using the TV speaker for sound, you won't hear any noticeable difference at all either.

yes there will be a little improvement. only a little...the sound is going to a lot better than the standard dvds.

make sure to use s video or a component output(if your tv has it)...signals under 420p is no good.

sony's PS3 has the abilty to produce 1080p full HD image so when you are going to buy an HDTV, make sure you get an "full HD" tv.
