Get a No Cost Phone Number Scan at https://bitly.im/aL1IA
Its a good way to start. The place lets you to do a no cost phone scan simply to find out if any telephone data is there. This basic alalysis is done without cost. For a full detailed report its a modest payment.
Here's Reverse / Whose Number Lookup page. If you're talking about cell phones, you usually have to pay for that. I've had pretty good luck just using Google a phone number to find out who's calling. If you are researching a quantity of numbers, though, I suppose, you might want a service. I can't imagine why the average person would need to research a quantity of numbers, though, so I assume this is business-related, and it then seems only fair that you pay for a service. But maybe it's not.

Hi,
There are many sources you can look up that are free. Like 411.com, anywho.com, whitepages.com and so on.
But if you are looking for reverse cell phone lookup then there is no free reverse directory where you can look it up.
But you can do your own research for free. Just use Google or Yahoo or MSN.
Type in the cell number
"xxx-xxx-xxxx"
or
"(xxx) xxx xxxx"
You might be able to get the information you want.
Paid results are a bit of risk, but if the company offers a refund policy then you could try it.
I used one such service called http://www.reversecellphonerec.../ -Reverse Cell Phone Records. They have a 56 day guarantee - no results, then get a refund.
But try Google, MSN and Yahoo first. If nothing works out the above is a good place to go to.
For the do it yourself guys here's a detailed tutorial on on conducting a free reverse lookup using search engines at http://www.zimbio.com/Free+Reverse+Cell+Phone+Look... -Free Reverse Cell Phone Lookup - Zimbio.
Good Luck

www.infospace.com is free to use; however, if you're hunting a number that's unlisted, it won't find those. This is because people pay their phone companies extra money to NOT publish their numbers.
Also, infospace will have links where you can pay to get more info than just the name and street address that belongs with the phone number. Just because they're there, however, it doesn't mean you have to click them...
Now, if I could find a reverse directory for 800 numbers that would actually find any of the one's I'm trying to ID, that'd be fantastic...

The best free website for reverse phone is www.whitepages.com. I really like using that website. It gives you all the contact information. For example their name, phone number and address.
