I hate it when I see recipes spelling for a recipe, asking for cupfuls instead of cupsful.?
Just knocking around a little fun. Do any of you have any to add?
Duh, forgive me and the sentence structure.
Hmm. You got me on the skoshe part. What the heak is a skoshe?

^underscores aren't really used in regular spelling...
but I know what you mean!! Like when people say "bill of sales" instead of "bills of sale"...they pluralize the wrong part of speech (in the case of cupsful vs cupfuls, the noun should be pluralized, not the adjective)

Not that it is necessarily recipe related, but I can't stand when people say they "blowdried" their hair! It's blew dry! lol
Passers by gets me too, but not many people use the term "passer by" to begin with really.

I usually see it simply "cups" oh well. Here are some that confuse "domesticly challenged" people like me:
pinch
skoshe
dash
splash
smidgeon

How about a "pinch" ... definitely a different amount for different people.

One of my pet peeves :
"I have three brother-in-laws."
No, you have three "Brothers -in-law."
