Do you think this is Joe Torre's last year with the New York Yankees?

    If they don't make the playoffs, which it does not look as though they will, then I think Torre is gone. I don't know that Stein will publicly fire him but rather they will come to a mutual decision that it is time for Torre to go and they will let him announce his "retirement" at the end of the year.

    I seriously doubt we will ever see Torre manage again after his tenure with the Yanks comes to an end. If anything he will take a front office job with the Yanks or he will end up with a TV job of some kind.

    Defenitely. Steinbrenner is going to fire Torre after the Yankees miss the playoffs.

    Yes, even if the Yankees make the playoffs he will walk. If Cuban buys the cubs look for Pinella to be fired and Torre to be his replacement.

    Last year for now, although he is getting old. Maybe the Reds or Mariners will pick him up, both teams are running on replacements right now.
