How do you feel about the Lymes vaccinations?

I know some people are against them. What is your opinion and why?

Personally, I do not vaccinate my dogs against it. I rather treat my dogs for Lyme then vaccinate them for it. Like all vaccines, it isn't 100% and I have seen quite a few dogs contract Lyme even though they are vaccinated. I don't like the idea of pumping all these different vaccines into my dogs. Again, this is just MY opinion.

I would not bother with it because A) not all dogs will automatically get Lyme Disease from a tick bite and tick PROTECTION/preventive is MUCH more advanced than ever

    B) It might or might not work

    C) there are too many strains of Lyme Disease to have a vaccine for all of them.
