What will all the "Bush Haters" do with their spare time after a Democrat is elected to the White House?

The Politics" threads seem to be filled with a lot of pure HATE towards the president and the policies of the Republicans. What will all of you do after Hillary or Barack or ??? is elected in 2008? Be careful what you ask for....

It may not be enough just to get him out of office. Then they may want to destroy his legacy as well. In addition, do you remember how Clinton kept blaming the troubles of his administration on "the last 12 years?" Bush will be used as a scapegoat for any problems Hillary encounters. If, make that WHEN Hillary raises taxes and the economy sours, the Bush haters will be blaming Bush. It just depends on what flavor of Koolaid they are drinking that day.

i'm a Christian, however the workplace of the President is the area of chief over the administrative branch. the administrative branch's accepted purpose is enforcement of the regulation. that's the Legislative branch that creates regulation, so i'm unsure why lots extra concentration is located on the President via evangelicals particularly of specializing in who they % to Congress. My answer? No. Who we want for President is somebody who can take care of and lead responsibly and effectively. somebody who's a astonishing tactician would be superb. somebody who can understand the minds of the two our allies and our enemies so as that he could be an more suitable diplomat with out compromising the want of the yankee human beings. Prosyletizing must be left interior the palms of non-government workers like clergy and missionaries (which i'm). An brazenly religious President is probable to make a undesirable determination in some unspecified time interior the destiny and human beings will affiliate that along with his/her faith. for my section nevertheless, i'd like it if the President became a Christian to boot to the characteristics that I see as ultimate for the presidency.

    Fortunately I'm a non-partisan hater.

I hate Bush with a passion - he is a complete idiot.

Hillary is equally, if not more stupid.

Barack strikes me as more intelligent than Bush or Hillary, but I still seriously doubt a black man can get elected in this country.

Anyone who takes the reins from this administration is doomed from thet getgo anyway. Dubya and Co. have left this country in rough shape. His supporters ignore the record defecits, debt, failed wars, and failed policies, and instead bleat 'but the economy' like good little GOP'er sheep.

Because of the government handouts and tax cuts to corporations - the economy does indeed appear to be buoyant on the surface.

But if you look just below the surface, you will see the massive amounts of structural damage and pinhole leaks - this country may never recover from the mistakes, arrogance, and ignorance of the last seven years.

While I do not hate teh President, I am most certainly willing to risk someone else being in the oval office. There is no way I can convince even myself that this Prsidency has been anything but a disaster.

I am willing to risk having a president in office that serves the people, not the insurance industry; that serves the people, not the oild industry; that serves all of the people, not just the wealthy. I am willing to risk a president who can acknowlege a mistake and therefore attempt to correct it. I am willing to risk a president who believes all of the citizens of this nation are important, not only the wealthy ones. And lastly, I am willing to risk a president who place the country above the party. Some Democrats may fit this bill. some Republicans may fit this bill. If so, I'm willing to take my chances with them in office. It will be a pleasant change.

If the democratic party cannot find a better candidate than what I've seen they will bash the next republican President. Hillary and barack have no chance, they're just going to spoil any legit democrat from winning by taking enough vote to ruin it.

I'm not full of hatred towards the man and the policies of the Republicans...but we "Bush Haters" as you so kindly put us, will still continue to hate Bush when he's out of office.

At least then we won't have to listen to him talk about WINNING! all the damn time.

I'm not technically a "Bush hater". I think he should be fairly tried and executed for multiple counts of High Treason but I find that generally, hatred is a waste of time and energy. Bush certainly isn't worth it. After he's gone I'm sure I'll have plenty to keep me busy. I'll be opposing the End Times Evangelists, the Neocons, the Dominionists, the oil companies, the military industrial complex, the rich and super rich. That should be enough for a while.

They will still blame a lot on Bush long after he is gone, just like Republicans are still on Clinton 8 years later. The rest of the time they will be making up silly @ssed excuses for the new Presidents mistakes. Just like we have now. No changes, just politics and radicals.

turn their attention on congress and state government. as well as keep whining about the evil doer bush. work hard at arguing the new boss isnt a idiot; and of course....hate on us evil "neocons". it's gonna be a full time job! and how come i gotta be a "neocon", can't i just be a con? i mean, i vote libertarian sometimes and that's a con-con!

i gotta say ol' boy down there is right! con's hate on clinton to this day, and i dont mean hillary. it borders on a clinton "fixation" and i'm sure libs will have the same bush fixation.
