Baltimore Ravens?
Im a die hard Ravens fan i mean i bleed black and purple! anyway , what are your predictions on the Ravens' 07-08 season. They had a HUGE departure of Adailus Thomas. But a HUGE new guys Willas McGahee. I predict the offense will be awesome this year with a great new RB and the defense will get some one and make him a superstar. I see a Super Bowl victory over the Saints beating the Patriots in overtime in the AFC Championship Game
All these people trashing Willis McGahee i got 4 words for u Bill Bilick, Ray Lewis

I to am a Raven fan. But I am a fan of the game 1st.
I love the Ravens chance "It's better than most" and the truth is the Superbowl Champs will come out of the AFC again.
So what are our boys chances.
Well the lost of Thomas is not as huge as everyone thinks ( It's who we lost him to that makes it hard ) The Ravens Defense is so good that because of 2 time Defensive Player of the year ( This year will be 3 ) Ray Lewis and because of 1 time Defensive Player of the Year( The Ball Hawk ) Ed Reed, and because of former Defensive Rookie of the Year and 2 time Pro Bowler Terrell Suggs, and because we have a great corner and continuous Pro Bowler in Chris Mac. the next player who will take Thomas place will step it up.
As far as the lost of Lewis and the addition of McGahee. It is a definite upgrade.
McGahee runs low and is patient. He can hide behind that big Offensive line we have and make moves in the pocket were Lewis depended on his speed looking for a 1st block and explode. The best Back's in the League are patient leting somthing devolpe ( L.T. and Larry Johnson )
The biggest asset he brings is that he can catch out of the backfield. If the Ravens make a move on a threat ( Kyshawn Johnson ) who they can offer a 2 year small contract. We'd have a threat at receiver. Let's be real "We don't have that"
So here we go. I hate our schedule. It the worst we ever had to face.
We sweep both The Browns, and The Steelers we are 4-0.
We split with the Bengals we are 5-1.
We beat The Jets, The Cards, The 49ers, The Rams, and The Bills we are 10-1.
If we get 3 out of The Seahawks, The Dolphins, The Colts, The Chargers, and the Pats we are 13-3.
We beat the Pats and the Chargers we have a home game and with luck 2 ( But home feild means nothing. The Pats beat the Chargers at home last year and when they won their AFC championships they did it on the road. Colts last year and the Steelers before that, Heck even when we won the Superbowl we were a Wild Card )
3 team are palying for pride after last year. The Chargers, The Pats, and us.
AFC Championship against the Pats.
Ravens Lose.

The coaches name is Brian Billick. Anyway, Thomas wasnt that big of a loss for us. People cried the same B.S. when Jamie Sharper and Ed Hartwell left town. We found replacements for both of them and they ended missing the Ravens D more then the D missed them, I see no reason that Thomas's departure wont turn out the same way. I am holding out reservation on McGahee because I dont know much about his pro career. But almost anything will be an upgrade over Jamal Lewis, who is past his prime. Although, I was for keep J.Lew. I would rather have the devil I know rather then the one I dont. Other then not knowing how the running game will be, I think our only weak spot is going to prove to be the CB position. I really wish they would have bought someone in to challenge Samari Rolle for his spot but other then that. We have a better shot then most at getting to the Super Bowl.

The Ravens have the talent to make the super bowl when I was looking a super bowl ticket sight and it showed Ray Lewis and Reggie Bush My prediction is that the Cowboys lose to my Patriots. That SB XL11 ticket sight might have given away a clue posting Ray Lewis on it. My Prediction for the Ravens 11-5 lose to Pats in AFC Championship. They will meet the Colts again but the Ravens will want revenge after their 1 game exit against the Colts last year.

Don't think the Ravens will get to the Super Bowl, though they certainly could win their division. Likely be tight between them and the Bengals...with the second place getting a wild card.
As for Willis...careful about him. He may go to SI and do an interview praising a different near by city and suggest the Ravens should move there or something. He's not what I would call a team player...or a fan favorite. When he suggested the Bills should move to Toronto...even here in Toronto, that went over like a lead balloon. We may support the Bills, but we didn't want him either.

Houston is 30th versus the pass. The Texans made Gus Frerotte look like the best quarterback of all time last Sunday, so Flacco shouldn't have a problem torching their defensive backfield. Shaub is out and the illustrious Sage Rosenfels is in. The Texans needs this game to have a shot at the Wild Card, the Ravens have the Giants next week. Prediction: Baltimore- 17-16

In my opinion the ravens should have a pretty good season. However, with the loss of A.T. the defense will not be as dominating as last year, it will still be good. I still doubt that offense though, Heap needs to have a big year again, and Willis better do something to kickstart the offense. I predict a 10-6 record, just making the wildcard, and graciously bowing out first round.

I think and Hope the Ravens have a good season b/c they have so much talent and they got a hell of a deal getting Willis McGahee. Im thinking a deep run into the playoffs this year.

Sports investors should hop on the Nets early this season before the lines are adjusted to reflect the Nets actual ability rather than on last year's results. At first glance the total number of wins seems very high for the Nets

Willis McGahee is a good back when health, but the Ravens runs style is alil rough for his size if you know what i mean. Lokok at the pass backs for the Ravens.

The Ravens look good but the one question mark is how well will McNair hold up? If he returns to form then you guys got a shot of going all the way.
