How can I find the differential of this equation?

(xy)^(1/2) = 7x + y^3

    I think the first step is to square both sides and then take the derivative. Once you do that, move terms around until you get all of the dy/dx on one side of the equation. You are still going to have y terms present.

    just put xy=v and then try it
