Ok so I just got a BRAND NEW Mac Computer...?
And it has a web cam built in like most new ones. I really want to post a video of me singing a song and I don't know how too. But the guy who set it up said that I could make a video. So... could some one PLEASE!!! tell me how to work this webcam thingy!

I just got one, also.
First, close any open video chats and Photobooth so that the camera isn't in use.
Open iMovie AV in Applications. It might be on your dock, also.
There is a scissors tab, and there should be a camera right next to it. Drag the button over to the camera and click "Record With iSight." You just drag the clip down when you are done.
If you are looking to post the clip on YouTube, you can go to Upload on YouTube.com and then click Quick Capture, then record right there. Hope it helps. If it wasn't clear enough;
