i don't consider it vandalism., i consider it protecting the constitution

That's hilarious. I think it would be great to have a website dedicated to such a thing, photo uploader and all. What a movement!

FSM is a new acronym for me... a good def. I found was
Finite State Machine (FSM or "Finite State Automaton", "transducer") An abstract machine consisting of a set of states (including the initial state), a set of input events, a set of output events, and a state transition function. The function takes the current state and an input event and returns the new set of output events and the next state. Some states may be designated as "terminal states". The state machine can also be viewed as a function which maps an ordered sequence of input events into a corresponding sequence of (sets of) output events. A deterministic FSM (DFA) is one where the next state is uniquely determinied by a single input event. The next state of a nondeterministic FSM (NFA) depends not only on the current input event, but also on an arbitrary number of subsequent input events. Until these subsequent events occur it is not possible to determine which state the machine is in. It is possible to automatically translate any nondeterministic FSM into a deterministic one which will produce the same output given the same input. Each state in the DFA represents the set of states the NFA might be in at a given time. In a probabilistic FSM [proper name?], there is a predetermined probability of each next state given the current state and input (compare Markov chain). The terms "acceptor" and "transducer" are used particularly in language theory where automata are often considered as abstract machines capable of recognising a language (certain sequences of input events). An acceptor has a single Boolean output and accepts or rejects the input sequence by outputting true or false respectively, whereas a transducer translates the input into a sequence of output events. FSMs are used in computability theory and in some practical applications such as regular expressions and digital logic design.
Crossing out God and replacing it with FSM is a freedom you should have in the United States. US citizens (and I am one) like to think that their freedom of speech rights under the constitution make our country a great place to live, but these rights have always been under attack and never more so than today when we find our country under the control of prying governmental branches who can infiltrate our so called private domains at will in the name of protection from terrorism.
Another doctrine designed to make the USA a great place to live... separation of church and state... is also under constant fire from the right wing evangelical constituency who want to force their god onto the rest of the citizenry.
I'm already signed up for stamp duty in limbo... I have to do it for a hundred "years" (whatever those are)... every time a right wing evangelical tries to cross into the "pearly gates" I get to stamp a big "WRONG" on their forehead and send them back to Earth to try life again. I'll get to say trite remarks like "come back when you can admit voting for Bush was a big mistake, then we'll let you in to your moronic view of heaven which is really just your own hell. Think about it."
I'd love to see FSM on every bill.

The currency was desecrated by Congress when they added it to the money, so the prohibition on vandalism is nullified.
I say Go For It. I can't wait to get FSM annointed bills.

It doesn't come under defacement
"Defacement of currency is a violation of Title 18, Section 333 of the United States Code. Under this provision, currency defacement is generally defined as follows: Whoever mutilates, cuts, disfigures, perforates, unites or cements together, or does any other thing to any bank bill, draft, note, or other evidence of debt issued by any national banking association, Federal Reserve Bank, or Federal Reserve System, with intent to render such item(s) unfit to be reissued, shall be fined not more than $100 or imprisoned not more than six months, or both."
Note the words "with intend to render such item(s) unfit to be reissued". If it can still be used, it isn't defacement, thus not a criminal act.

"In noodles we trust.' Ramen. As much as I do worship his Noodleship its still a violation of separation of church and state, no religious reference need be on there at all. I had a friend who once inked in dis- on bills just before the word trust. =) I always wondered why if you were religious you would want an endorsement of God on money. Seems like a bad mix to me as I don't think a good Deity if one existed would want to be associated with filthy lucre or mammon.

It is not vandalism, and it is not illegal. I highly encourage it as a protest against the addition of God to our currency in the 1950s, an unconstitutional act.
Please have some rubber stamps manufactured and sell them on a web site. I will be your biggest customer.

I think it's great. I just hope there's enough Pirates hanging around the Caribbean to break you out of Guantanamo

In the eyes of the law, yes. In reality, no.
Why not "no one" or ""myself" instead of The Flying Spaghetti Monster?
