They are basically the same, I made my decision based on which of the legendaries I liked the best. I think Dialga is cooler than Palkia so I bought Diamond. It's not that big of a deal though. And also, Diamond is my birthstone, and a Diamond could cut through a Pearl, lol.

they r both the same thing but i perfer diamond it has more pokemon to my liking but it doesnt matter becuz after awhile u'll be able to trade pokemon world wide lik ppl from japan and mexico and everything

The best is the one you prefer, they are the same, apart from the pokemon that appear in it.
