You can start a a community college and than transfer, to 4 year college.
Most cc are working with the colleges, with their area, talk to an adviser at the cc, about making sure you take class that transfer to Howard.
Your financial aid (fafsa is financial aide given by the government).
Which can be used at any cc and any college.
Keep in mind that financial aide, is loan a that must be re payed once you graduate. Some of it is free money that you will not have to pay back. Its called ell grant. This pell grant money is given based on your family contribution from the tax forms. This pell grant free money is very little and the amount will very each semester.

on an identical time as some human beings have self assurance the place you attend college counts for something, the actual answer is that finding out to purchase credit at an area college is way less annoying on the workstation and after 8 years of premed and scientific college, who rather cares with regards to the 1st 2 years? in basic terms people who think of there's a actual difference the place the 1st training are taken. Bragging rights or association with different scholars for the period of the completed set of training may be a element for you, yet no longer for some others. the 1st training of math, technology, and composition English are regularly the comparable almost everywhere, except there's a particular instructor or professor that pulls out the main suitable in you or all his/her scholars. understanding that would make a difference to you. A community college prepares you for the trials of school existence and the learn recurring. With a 4 365 days college you leap in spectacular away. are you able to handle the standards or is it regularly for the association with different scholars? scientific colleges look down on anybody and each little thing as no longer stable adequate and that they drill that into the graduates that they are greater suited than others. Take the CC training first! Be a greater suited wellbeing practitioner considering you have no longer been knowledgeable which you're greater suited than all human beings else!

Financial aid is also based on cost of attendance of the school you plan to attend, so you will get more for going to a more expensive university. Your FAFSA family contribution will remain the same so if you have a large share to pay before aid you would save more money going to the jc first.

if you are eligible for financial aid, you would receive it at either the community college (cc) or university. most financial aid is loan based with little in way of grants. cc's cost significantly less than universities so I would suggest completeing your associates degree (2yrs) first and then transferring the degree to the university of your choice. when you are done with all of your general education classes at the cc, you would only have an additional 2 years to finish your bachelors. if you decide to only take a few classes at the cc, make sure that they are transferrable to the university of your choice by speaking with advisors from both schools.

You can get financial aid for community college, just as you can for a 4 year university. Go to the registrar's office atthe community college and they will give you all the forms to apply. Good luck!
