Yes, Yes, and yes.

There really needs to be new blood in the sagging world of our capital. Not old rehashed ideas that didn't work before and will not work again. No matter what pretty box you put it in, it won't work if the substance isn't there.

It's gotten so old it needs to be retired.

Agreed. I'm a Constitutionalist Libertarian.

My ideal choices would be:

#1 - Newt Gingrich

#2 - Barack Obama

#3 - Fred Thompson

All three are outside the elite system, and would shake things up.

I really respect Gingrich because, if you take the time to listen to what he says, he is an incredibly smart historian with realistic and practical ideas. I think the world would "gulp" if he got elected because it would mean they can't BS us anymore. And that would regain a massive amount of respect for our country. He reminds a lot of Ben Franklin.

Barack doesn't really fit my ideal, but out of all the Democrats, I think he would be the most interesting and has the best potential of the current field to be a good President.

I've really only heard a little from Fred Thompson, but so far I like what he says. He's got some insider experience, but he's always distanced himself from the things that corrupt the elite chosen ones. So, for right now anyway, he's my #3 choice.

Of course, any intelligent person would..where are the intelligent honest Americans..I know the peoples and I cannot believe that some of these people do not step forward, even if a third party, and rid Americans of the present crowd of opportunistic creeps...The United States will be dead in the water if they do not go for significant change this time around..China and the EEC are already taking over the debt ridden nation and the need for a tough honest person is not idealistic but essential.
