Corporations if we are silent and the people when we take action. Good example is the defeat of the amnesty bill. We flooded the senate office with 1 million calls in a 1 week period.

    Good job

Escort Services, Washington DC Prostitutes and Saudi Arabian Al Quaeda terrorists.

They represent their wallets and the corporations that bought them. They don't work for the people that voted them into office.

As someone above me said, everyone needs to be outraged. Speak up. Be heard. Contact all your gov. officials with all your concerns and do it all year round. Don't be silent

I know you will get answers saying...........we the people, but I can answer it in one word.....THEMSELVES

one thing that leads me to that answer is those outrageous salaries they pay themselves, not to mention those expenses they pay themselves too.

I wonder what would happen if about 60% of the population of CITIZENS signed up on welfare like the illegals do, or as one senator put it...undocumented americans

Source(s): years upon years of paying redundant taxes & watching those igmos at work on C-SPAN

We elected them and our taxes pay them but mostly they represent special interest groups. Sometimes they'll do something for us. Usually close to election time.

That depends on who's payroll they are on. The list of special interest groups can be quite varied.

We elect them and pay them , but are they working in our best interests .

Only when we put enough pressure them .

Seems they are more beholden to special interest groups and Corporations , those that benefit them financially .
