Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard
Flawless by Sara Shepard
and Perfect which comes out in september which is the third book to Pretty Little Liars
Midnighters by Scott Westerfield.
By Cecily Von Ziegesar [the author of It girl] you should make sure to read Gossip Girl ! It's a really good series, and It girl comes from it.
Meg Cabot's best series is Mediator.
Lisi Harrison and Cecily Von Ziegesar write books similar to a series known as the "A-List". It is an extremley good book and if you enjoyed them you will like this. It is by the author with the last name Dean.
I love ALL those aupthors!

I just finished "The Unlikely Cat Lady" by Nina Malkin. It's a true story about the authors interactions with some feral cats that moved into her back yard. I can't remember laughing that much over a book in a long time.

The Book of Lost Things by John Connelly.
Description from Amazon:
Thriller writer Connolly (Every Dead Thing) turns from criminal fears to primal fears in this enchanting novel about a 12-year-old English boy, David, who is thrust into a realm where eternal stories and fairy tales assume an often gruesome reality. Books are the magic that speak to David, whose mother has died at the start of WWII after a long debilitating illness. His father remarries, and soon his stepmother is pregnant with yet another interloper who will threaten David's place in his father's life. When a portal to another world opens in time-honored fashion, David enters a land of beasts and monsters where he must undertake a quest if he is to earn his way back out. Connolly echoes many great fairy tales and legends (Little Red Riding Hood, Roland, Hansel and Gretel), but cleverly twists them to his own purposes. Despite horrific elements, this tale is never truly frightening, but is consistently entertaining as David learns lessons of bravery, loyalty and honor that all of us should learn.

I'd recommend the hunger games series by Susan Collins. I'm obsessed with those books at the moment and they have similar genre/themes to the books you've mentioned above. Its also being made into a film that's due for release this March!

I just finished Jodi Picoult's newest "Nineteen Minutes." It is so moving and she is an amazing writer. "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold is a beautiful story, as well. If you want something a bit girly and fun, I'd check out the "Shopaholic" series by Sophie Kinsella. Those are fun reads :)
