Tough decision to make........................?

I am 33 y/o I will be 34 in Mach 2008. I am single with no children. I am self-employed( I work from home) and generate a nice income. I currently reside in Chicao with a very high cost of living. For ex. for $400K you can buy a 2br apartment without parking.........He's my problem.............I would like to move to Dallas,Texas(North suburb to be exact) becaue I can purchase a 5 br/4 1/2 bath/3 car gagare for around $265K.Not that I would by a home this large, this gives you an idea. I have already seen home like this in gated communities that are complete with a golf course. Do I move and start my business over, which would take me about 3 years to hit my current income level or should i just stay in Chicago and not relocate?

If I do relocate it would be towards the end of next year(2008)

SIDENOTE: money is not the deciding factor, starting over is.

I am a Certified Machinery and Equipment Appraiser. As long as there are Banks my business will prosper

Go ahead and do it. Relocate. Deep down, you know you need to make a big change in your life, to be truly happy. I wish you all the luck in world. Move as soon as possible. as the longer you leave it .The harder it will be. and you may talk yourself out of it.

Hire a company to do a market research analysis for you first. Then I would vacation there for like 2 or more weeks before moving over there to see if you can get used to cowboy hats and boots in the city. Dallas life and Chicago life are like night and day. You may not like it at all and be miserable or you may like it better than Chicago and pick up a twang in your speech. Just don't put all of your eggs in one basket.

Source(s): Moved from New York City to Florida and hate it. Too big of a culture difference for me. The money is no where near what I'm used to earning. - movin on back lol.

listen, if i were you, i would generate a lot of side income through investing...

save up about 300k worth of excess money(after getting apartment + starting business then give business a 100k to start with), then relocate. you will start over your business but with a good head start and enough money in your savings. we the extra money in hand, go investing again, and strike a good amount of passive income, put some money on stocks, and then yeah. basically, if you earn a lot of money, i would suggest delaying it for liek 2 years. buts thats jsut me, im only 14 -.-

If you are not happy where you currently are, then you know what needs to be done. Ultimately, you want to be in an ideal living environment where you can be prosperous and share your passion. If Chicago ain't it, get to where you need to be bruh, whether that's Texas or Neverland! Many blessings to you and your business(es).

i think of it relies upon on the place you like to bypass with showing. How lots paintings you like to place right into a horse and what sort of paintings you like to put in that horse. Joe; desires adventure and a few education. Elite; desires time and believe between the the two certainly one of you. Elite does look extra the jumper sort, yet i myself like Joe's seems to. i could say bypass with your heart and bypass with Joe. yet once you think of you are able to bypass farther with Elite and that's what's significant, then i think he could desire to be your decision. pick which ever one makes you chuffed.
