Can you transfer auto text entries from one computer to another?

My colleague has hundreds of useful auto text entries stored on her computer which would help my job. Do I have to sit and type out each entry onto my own computer?

Do you mean from Word or Exel etc? If you do then it should be easy.

With Office, all the autotext entries should automatically be stored in the Normal.dot file. To transfer them, all you have to do is copy the Normal.dot file over from one computer to another.

Hopefully that should work. If not, then your autotext entries are being stored in the usual place!

Hope it helps, maybe you can give some more info if it doesn't!

    :)
