Looking for a type of shrub/bush?
I am looking for a type of shrub or bush. Here are a list of my requirements...
*Needs to be small (30 - 60cm)
*Needs to be dense and green all year round like a hedge
*Needs to be fairly easy to grow
*Needs to be a reasonably fast grower
*Needs to be able to be 'sculptured' into a shape (ball, box, cone etc)
*Needs to be able to be grown in a pot.
Any ideas?

I think you can grow boxwood in containers. They have a small leaf, are evergreen and easily shaped and grow fairly rapidly.
Have you considered a topiary? You can make a wire frame in the shape you want and train ivy on it. Ivy grows very quickly. In the south, I believe it stays green all winter. I'm not sure about the north...

If you want something small, then don't listen to those telling you to plant boxwoods. Boxwoods usually grows from 90cm and up. You could try a euonymus emerald 'n gold. There are also many yews that stay small and can be shaped or even arborvitaes.
