New field hockey stick. . .? opinions please?
I'm looking for a new field hockey stick. I was thinking about a Grays, but I was wondering your thoughts on other brands like Dita, Gryphon, Slazenger, TK...and others
I'm just looking for all of your opinions.
Serious answers to you jerks.
Okay only field hockey players answer please.
Okay to the first idiot.
There are a ton of girls out there who aren't "trying to grow genitals" but can kick *** on the field. What sports do you play and how good are you at them? I'm actually really good at the sports I play so I would shut your mouth. I was only asking other peoples preference of stick. Not like i'm a beginner or anything. Can you just get a life

I was recently shopping around for a new stick and i ended up buying a Grays stick. They are in my opinion the best. Gryphon is also extremly good. STX, Dita, Slazenger are ok. TK and Cranbarry are better. I think Brine is the worst so don't waist your money on that brand. Good luck and happy hunting.

hey! i'm an expert at field hockey sticks!
first of all, get a composite, they last longer and hit SO much better than wood sticks.
the brand that i like the best and that gets "good ratings" is grays. they vary from price ranges, but they are basically the same for any field hockey composite stick price. it works well for me; i used an STX and a cranberry composite stick before and grays was cleary a dominate stick compared to those.
dita, gryphon, slazenger, and TK i'm not too familar with. my field hockey coach a few years ago was Australian, and he had a slazenger.. i think those brands are popular outside the US (In australia, etc). i've never seen those in a sporting store, only in ordering catalogs-i wouldn't buy a stick from a catalog cause it's important for you to see how tall it should be for YOU and try it out and see how YOU like it!
my biggest suggestion for you is to get a grays!

i have a tk and a voodoo stick . i prefer the voodoo stick im a mid and i have a way stronger drive with the voodoo than the tk. My team mates have grays and the forwards like them but the left mids and defence dont.

i would say deffinetly go with a composite stick. They don't break as easily and have way better control. The also overall last longer. I have a STX, Cranberry's are also very good along with grays. if you have to pick from the choices you have listed i would go with grays. Just make sure you get a composite stick!

try picking up an apron and a cookbook instead.. you are more qualified!
and this was a serious answer... God gave women femininity not baseball caps and hockey sticks in an attempt to grow genitals
hahaha sabre... and you disagree and call names for what reason??? Maybe you are on the feminine side too?? Or maybe you like to compete against females who's athletic ability are that of a 5th grade boy? Sorry but the facts are.. girls can't compete on any level and them attempting to do so is nothing more then a political stand.. Why would any man stand by and watch females lower the standard of athletics? They did it in golf, with special rules so they can appear to be on the same level(shorter tees different clubs to give them a little extra distance and balls that fly farther).. basketball, and baseball.. Have you ever watched top level female sports?? What a joke!!!! Reminds you of an Elementary school, boys gym class.

I have a TK indoor stick and outdoor stick and i love them. they help with lifting and give you more powerful drives. Fiberglass sticks and composite sticks are your best bet. But make sure that they have shock absorber because nothing annoyes me more then shock after hitting the ball.
