On the Young & the Restless, please tell me what happened to Katherine's ring.?

They haven't played out the scene yet but Michael is supposed to find it. It has something to do with Cane and his scheming uncle who's name is Langley Ashby. He'll be in town starting in September. I can't wait to see how they play it out.

A spoiler says that Micheal is suppose to find the ring soon, but doesn't know the story behind it.
