And what is the longest you have gone without it after you did it once?

The act of having sex...you can go for quite a long time. Now, just manually taking care of yourself is a different story. After a while even sex loses it's excitement, no matter who your with. You may decide you don't want to do it just because your tired, angry, not attracted to the other.
On the other hand if you truly enjoy sex with a particular person you will probably want to do it often.
I've gone 1 year...not by choice...due to a deployment.

I think, once you've had GOOD, passionate, meaningful sex, it's hard to go without it, because hopefully by that point you're in a relationship with whoever that person is you're sexing and have the ability to get it on all the time anyway. ;)

For some people it is harder than others. I went 5 years without it when I was 25 yrs old. I didnt miss it at all. I think it is a mindset. If you think it will be rough it will be.

Its only discipline man and your attitude towards it. Sex is not just lust, though many people are doing it for lust. You should do it with love and respect it's more fullfilling and satisfying.
