Any already get married at Sandals Royal Bahamian..Bahamas?

My husband and I were married at Sandals Royal Bahamian in November, 2005. Everything about it, from the way the wedding was coordinated to the setting was wonderful.

You have to be in the Bahamas two full days before you can be married. Shortly after checking in, you'll schedule a meeting with your wedding coordinator where you'll decide on specifics for the wedding. You'll pick out what kind of cake you want, the color of the flowers, the location on the resort for the wedding, and what you'd like for your honeymoon breakfast.

I'd suggest trying to get married in the morning around 9:00 or 10:00. The lighting at that time is beautiful for pictures and it isn't too hot yet. Your groom will head to the location of the wedding before you. After he leaves, the wedding coordinator will come get you from your room, and take you to the groom.

After you're married, they'll give you a private reception that includes your cake, shrimp cocktail, and other appetizers. The photographer will be on-hand for both the wedding and the reception, and will take at least 100 pictures.

After the reception, they'll tell you when you can go look at your pictures. The standard wedding package includes one free photo and an album I believe. I'd highly suggest buying more photos - you'll see several pictures that you'll want. They'll put all the pictures you purchase on a disc and also print a copy of each one and put it in your wedding album.

It's a great way to get married and my husband and I are hoping to go back in a couple of years.

Sounds more like a honeymoon destination rather than a wedding scene, unless 1) you're having a small wedding with few guests coming in from the mainland or 2) you're combining the two there. I am sure the quality there is unquestionable and not to worry too much on the amenities provided by the hotel. These places strive to ensure top quality to guests.
