Do you/would you buy Bratz for your daughter? If so, why?

I don't allow my daughter to have them. They look way to sexualized. I think they are marketed to pedophiles, ugh.

There are plenty of toys that are more child appropriate- why make little girls grow up so soon? Bratz=blech.

No. I would never buy bratz dolls for my daughter If i was a parent because they are part of the growing sexuallity in media. Because clothes/toys are growing sluttier for younger generations. That media is a bad thing. The more children get used to it / Get okay with it and the more they will try and imitate it. As you see these days its getting so bad they are selling thongs in children sections of some stores

I don't have a child, and I'm a female, and I'm pretty young (under 30). With all that being said, I don't like Bratz. I feel that they portray an image of "hoodrat" that is demeaning to women. I'd rather her have a Barbie with a career than a Brat with a STD.

For my niece (she's 4) she doesn't like them and her mom doesn't buy them either. Me, as a gift I like to give her teddy bears and she's likes those too.

im not a parent but the children really enjoy playing with them and making up stories! I sure loved playing with them when i was younger. It also helpes to build their creative skills! I really think you should buy your daughter the bratz. She will thank you and love them for years!

no. i decided this because i went to a friends daughters b-day party and she got a baby bratz doll and its panties were netted and they looked like a thong! plus, i think they are too "sexy" for kids.

dude it is paranoid parents like some of the people here who make up stupid stuff like Spongebob is gay. just let your kids play with barbies it doesn't really matter. when i was young and played with bratz i didnt think " wow Barbie looks like she is wearing a really short mini skirt"? what the heck?

I really, really hate those dolls. No, I haven't bought any for my daughters, but those hateful things have turned up at the house as Christmas and birthday presents from others. grrr

it depends how old she is. If shse is 7 to 9 years old i understand
