If you were in a room with two computers, two doors, and nothing else?

You have to get out or eventually you will starve.

If you open one door # 1, it will detonate and blow you to pieces.

The other door # 2 is the door to freedom, but you don't know the difference, therefore your chance of picking the right door at random is 50/50.

The only chance you have is by asking one of the two computers.

The computers are identical (you don't know the difference) and there is only enough power for one question between the two, so you can only ask one question to one computer, then both computers will shut down.

Problem.

One computer will give you deceptive answers that will lead you to door # 1, and the other will be totally honest and lead you to door # 2.

What question can you ask either computer that will lead you to door # 2. (The question is exactly the same).

The answers will differ, but will both lead you to door # 2. Please explain the logic of the question and the reason both answers will lead you to door # 2.

Update:

I'm quite sure that some of you have heard this one before and know the answer.

For the sake of fun, please don't post the answer. Give others a chance to enjoy solving the riddle. Well, I am sure someone will post anyway as that's just the way it is on Y.A. sometimes.

Considering that, and the fact that someone may figure it out and post before you. If you really want to figure it out on your own, I suggest copying this and not checking the answers until you are sure you figured it out before you come back and post. Most people have to get a piece of paper and sketch out the scene.

This is a real thinker and a lot of fun you can try with your friends. I will extend the riddle before choosing, and this will not go to voting, so you have eight days. Have fun.

Update 2:

DON'T READ THE ANSWERS BELOW IF YOU WANT TO FIGURE IT OUT ON YOUR OWN. The givaways will take all the fun out of it

you ask what the other computer would say was the right door

the deceptive computer will tell you that the other would say 'go through door one'

the honest computer will tell you that the other computer will say 'go through door one'

no one steal my answer please!

therefore, you must do the opposite to what either one says

thats a tricky one! i had to think about that...but its defintelty good!

I have a 2 year old that recently started doing similar things. I had to lay on the floor next to his bed. Then I sat by the door until he was almost asleep. Last night I was able to put him to bed and walk away. I have to put a night light in his room because he says it is scarry in the dark. It might just be a new fear of the dark. Help him work through it. And slowly move out of the room. It will get better. I went through it with my oldest (4 now) when he was about 2. But I also have a 7 mo. old that needs my help at bedtime. My 4 year old is a dream to put to bed now. Just say good night and walk away. We see him in the morning.

I'd ask the first computer would the second computer tell me that the first computer would let me know that door number one will lead me to my freedom. If the truth computer I asked the question to it would say no, if the lying computer i was talking to it would say no to sooo. I'd take the other door from which I refered to in my question!@

If you were the other computer what would you say?? right? i think ive heard this before

If you ask the liar he would say door #1 if you ask the truthful 1 he would also say #1 so either way just pick the opposite of what they answer

What would the other computer say is the wrong door, then take that door, that's as long as the lying computer always lies.

I would just have the computer open the door since its so smart.

I will ask the computer to let me out of this nightmare!!! Lol, you're soooo funny! I'd take the risk. I'll just choose one. Whatever the result is, I'd just accept it.
