He hides him in a scrap yard where an artist makes sculptures out of junk metal.

1 AnswerMovies5 years agoAn older movie about an old man, a boy and a Native American man?
I'm pretty sure the boy and the old man were white. They all are, or become good friends. All I can remember besides that is that one of the 3 dies, then another and the last joined them by committing suicide. At the end of the movie, the boy and the Native American are playing and swimming (something they always did when they were alive) in the river as the old man sits on his front porch smiling and watching them in the "afterlife". I saw this movie when I was about 10, so 40 years ago or so. Any ideas? Thanks
1 AnswerMovies5 years agoAn older movie about an American boy that goes to Africa with his family and befriends another little boy?
This movie is about 40 years old. The boys find an old truck tire and get in it and roll down a slope, but when the African boy gets in, the tire rolls off the slope and the boy gets a severe head injury. In the end, I think he goes to New York with the family to see a specialist about his head injury. I have tried to post this question 3 times, but it keeps getting deleted. All I did was mention the races of the two boys for description. This is not a racist question. I saw the movie when I was about 10 years old and it touched me deeply. Now 40 years later, I would like to watch it again. Thanks

8 AnswersLanguages5 years agoNative American movie where one of a young couple's twins gets kidknapped?
The father searches for his son for his entire life. The movie is probably three decades old. No Caucasians in the movie, but the main character as an old man was played by a Caucasian.
Thanks
1 AnswerMovies6 years agoCan anybody identify this snake from Guangdong (Canton) in southern China?
My wife is alawys playfully nagging at me, "Is that the only thing you can do, identify snakes?" So just before she went on holiday, (as a joke) she placed a link in Chinese about a woman who found twelve eggs in her house, but only found eight of the hatchlings. I have looked at everything from keelbacks to the Chinese ratsnakes found in Guangdong without success.
1 AnswerReptiles6 years agoAre these seedling papaya trees? If not, does anyone know what they are?
They are about 4-5 inches tall. I've been throwing papaya seeds out in the garden for a few months, but none of them grew. I mixed some of the soil in my garden with potting soil for other plants and I have these growing in several pots.
Thanks
1 AnswerGarden & Landscape6 years agoFairly simple English to Spanish translation. I need something that fits a graduation ceremony. See details please.?
I need a very formal way to say, "Good evening ladies and gentlemen. The graduation ceremony is about to begin. Please take your seats. Thank you."
"Buenas noches mujeres y hombres. La graduacion, blank.........Muchisimo gracias."
I used to speak fair Mexican "street language" while growing up in Fla, but I don't think it would cut it in such a formal situation.
1 AnswerLanguages6 years agoWhy aren't my questions getting posted?
I posted the same answer 1 hour ago and then again 30 minutes ago. They show up on my page but are not in the category I put them in. The questions follow the guidelines. Maybe this one will not show up either.
Thanks.
