I need advice or tips on going back to school. See details...?

Question

I am returning to school after over 20 years to get my AA in Criminal Justice.  I am enrolled but still working on getting additional scholarships and that.  I need advice or tools on doing essays and good study tips.  I will be doing all of my education online but still need to know what the professors are expecting.  

Serious replies are greatly appreciated.  20 years is a long time to have to start from scratch again but I am giving my dream a chance to expand now.

well this is an honerable thing to do as for me i went back for cont. education sat down listened and did the home work and found some of the students that wanted to suceed and studyied with them came out top in class
