  • 2 cats, 2 different problems?

My 2 female cats and I are moving in w/ my boyfriend and his 2 male cats. All 4 cats are fixed. I have 2 situations going on.

    1. My older cat is a bully to my boyfriends older cat. She actually has him afraid of her. How can we help that problem?

    2. My younger cat doesn't like to eat much when we are at the boyfriends house. We have to force feed her at least once during the weekends when she doesn't eat for 2 days. When I get them back to the apartment, she is fine again and back to her normal eating habits. We are spending more and more time though at the boyfriends house so she should be gaining new habits by now.

What can we do to take care of the 2 problems? Basically, all 4 cats are great cats. No real fights but just the bullying and the eating problem. Any suggestions?

  • How can I protect the kids?

My neighbor is a single male in his mid 30's. He has part time custody of his young (around 10 yrs old) son. When the boy is not there, he still allows the neighborhood kids to run in and out of his house. One of the kids is a young girl (same age range as the son) who hangs on my neighbor like on his arm and that. Literally hangs. The guy is nice enough but does drink.

I don't want to sound like a bad neighbor but this seems very inappropriate to me. What can I do to prevent anything from happening to these kids and to keep this guy from getting into trouble? I live in an upper unit next door and see everything when I am on my deck. This is very troubling to me.

Serious replies only please. No smart allecks.

  • Cyber harassment and bullying question...?

Have you or someone you know ever experienced cyber bullying or cyber harassment? If so, can you give me details on what happened? Would you be willing to show me some of the things that were sent to you? What kind of laws would you like to see in place for these crimes?

I am doing a college report on cyber bullying and cyber harassment. I am looking for very real answers and am also looking to talk to people that have experienced it. Please, do not respond if you are only going to joke around as I do not have time for that. This is very real.

If you are willing to talk to me via email or instant messenger, please include that information in your response.

Again, serious replies only. This is not a joke!

    Thanks.

  • Very embarrassing question about bladder leakage....?

This is very embarrassing. I noticed the other day that the sweat in my undergarments smelled very much like urine. However, I didn't feel any urine coming out. Could this just be strong sweat or could I possibly have a leakage?

I am post menopausal by 10 years so I know its not peri-menopause. The sweat is in the upper pubic area.

Serious replies only please. This is extremely embarrassing as it is without anyones wise act remarks.

  • My older cat is acting mean. See details......?

My younger cat (she is 2 years old) just got fixed on Tuesday. My older cat (she is 4 and fixed) is acting so mean to her suddenly. She has been acting this way ever since the younger one got back home. My older cat raised the younger from a kitten and they were the best of friends until they were separated for 24 hours. What can I do? The younger one is still tender and very apprehensive around the older one with all this hissing going on. Im really worried here. Im trying to give both of them equal attention as always. They both know they are very loved. But this hissing from older to younger is just not right. Any advice?

Serious replies only please. If you cant give a logical answer then I would prefer no answer at all.

    Thanks.

  • What is eating my garden and how do I fix it?

In my garden I am growing cucumbers, radishes/carrots, lettuce, peas, green beans, tomatoes and peppers. The green beans are in the center row. They are also the ONLY thing that is getting eaten by a something. None of the other plants are. Three days ago, they all had leaves. Yesterday about 1/2 had lost the leaves and this morning, NONE had leaves. I live in a rural area so I know its not human. This is going to destroy my crop. What can I do about this?

Serious replies only please. Living in the country so I realize I have critters but this is just odd.

    Thanks

  • What qualities or attributes do you look for in a person?

When you first meet a person in any setting, what qualities or attributes are you looking for? Are you looking at the shallow side being physical looks, shape, and wallet size? Or are you looking deeper in the areas of trust, kindness, caring?

I am doing a psychology paper and am curious as to what other people are looking for in friends, acquaintances, and partners. Please do not give me any stupid answers. Real answers only please and give detail if you can.

    Thanks

  • Adult sibling rivalry. What would you do?

My friend who does not have the internet, has a sister, RP, that she has had a problem with. They had a disagreement about everything and yet, my friend still wants a relationship with her sister. She even sent RP a Christmas card that RP promptly threw away without even opening it. They live in different states so seeing each other is not an issue. Their mother isnt in the best of health and my friend would really like to have some sort of relationship with her sister.

The 2 girls are very different from each other. One is happily married but with a hard life (my friend) and her sister is 8 years older than her and acting very immature (multiple boyfriends, things that she was not raised to do, etc). They are both in their 40's but RP says that she is in her younger 40's vs older.

So, what would you do this situation? Should my friend just forget she has a sister or should she still try to make contact?

Serious replies only please. This is important to my friend. Thanks.

  • Ideas for kids? See details...?

I teach for an after school program and we want to adopt a nursing home. I want to teach these kids about giving back to their community and how to respect their elders in a different fashion. I teach the art program there. What kinds of crafts can these kids make for the residents. The kids ages range from K-5th grade.

This is very important to me and I believe it will make a huge impact on the lives of these kids. I really need some good ideas so please, serious replies only. Think with your hearts. Think of what you would like if you were in a home with no visitors.

Thank you so much in advance.

  • Does anyone know anything about Tennis Elbow?

About a month ago, I was diagnosed w/ Tennis Elbow. I have done the band, the RICE, everything. While most of the pain is gone, I still have one spot that is still hurting and, consequently, preventing me from doing things the way I used to. I dont even know how I got this. It is really becoming annoying. I have looked at all the websites and have done EVERYTHING. What else can I do?

Serious replys only please. I am severely right handed and this is really interferring w/ my life.

    Thanks

  • Question about growing cucumber plants. See Details...?

I have cucumbers growing in my garden (first year for this garden at all as it is newly cut) and my cucumber plants are growing great. BUT, I noticed that the cucumbers that are growing in the center of the plant are growing like balls instead of growing long. Is this normal? I straightened the vines out to give the vegies more light hoping that will help instead of having it all bunched up. What else can I do for these? Otherwise, the other cucumbers are growing well, the ones where I have already straightened out the vines. Any good advise?

Serious replies only please. Vulgar responses will be reported.

  • Why do gay men act like women and gay women dress and try to look like men?

I am genuinely curious as to why gay males tend to act like they have (a female version of) chests and why gay women cut their hair in masculine styles and dress masculine.

I have no problems w/ the gay community and, in fact, have friends that are gay but they still keep their gender identity.

No slanderous remarks or jokes please. I am actually very curious about this. I am a heterosexual female and just cant understand why someone would try to be someone they are not.

  • Homemade laxatives...see details?

  • Getting rid of the smell of cat spray.?

Here's the situation: for the past 2 years I have been unable to work due to disability. I recently have gone back to work part time but very long hours during those days. Now, I have 2 cats. One is 3 yrs old and fixed and the other is 1 year old and not fixed because she is a purebred and we plan to mate her very very soon. One of them is spraying like crazy in my bedroom. So here are the questions I have:

    1. How do I get the smell out?

    2. How can I keep this from happening again?

Please dont tell me to get the youngest one fixed. Like I said, we have plans to breed her at least once. Both cats are indoor cats and very very loved and up to date on their shots and extremely healthy.

    Any real ideas?

I question them about it and they dont have an answer for me. Now, when I was in the Air Force, we got our name plates right away. Why doesnt the Navy do that as well? Any good reasons?
