i am trying to put up a new dell moniter and it isn't working i need help?

when i hock up the screen it says "analong test" then it stays like that...and the people i bought it from said i sould press this button and when i pressed it nothing changed....plz plz plz plz plz plz hepl

    There is a button on the front of the monitor that you press, this monitor sounds like its analog/digital. If you are connecting it with a white DVI connector then it will be digital and that button will correct it. If its a blue connector it will be analog.

    Either way that button should fix it. It should be a little square like symbol on the front.

    should like you have mis-connected the monitor to the PC. check the connection, look into the connection and make sure that the pins are strait. carefully plug in the wires, make sure the connections are snug and not loose.
