Does anyone know when the Deadwood series will continue?
I just love the series and there was supposed to be two full length movies released by HBO. I have not heard anymore. Does anyone have any idea?

Ah, Deadwood...at this poitn it looks unlikely that it will ever continue. According to sources at HBO there a few factors right now:
1) Milch (show creator and writer) is tired after John From Cinncinnatti and neads a break.
2) If J from C gets renewed Milch will have to get busy writing season 2 of that.
3) None of the Deadwood actors are under contract anymore, so rounding them all up will be hard and probably expensive.
Right now HBO says it's 50/50 on whether Deadwood ever completes it's story. From the sounds of things I think that's optimistic.
