Christians - Which path are are you on? The wide one or the narrow path?

Matthew 7:21-23

21"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

22Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?'

23Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'

I listened to this on the radio this morning and this show by Grace to You" talked again about the narrow path (part of their current series). I have been in Churches and believed many things that don't match the Bible until I really started to study the Bible and then to really follow Jesus (still work in progress) Jesus was crucified and promised we would be hated too so the narrow path isn't easy. Take a listen...

So Christians we know the atheist etc. are on the wide and easy path... Are you sure you are on the right path?

Update:

In verse 21 it says that they are saying Lord Lord etc. so they thought they were saved and weren't. I can say I was on that road and would have answered I was on the narrow path. Please listen to what John MacArthur is saying and look at yourself. He is saying something I think that many Christians need to hear... me included. Examining our lives to make sure they are DOING God's will is something we all need to do more often. There are too many Christians that are that in name only not reality.

God Bless

Todd

All roads lead to home. We're all going to heaven.God loves us too much to lose even one of us.When and how quickly we get there depends on when and how quickly we learn and realize the truth.

    Yes,

    Matthew 7:13-14 (NIV)

Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

sure, Matthew 7:13-14 (NIV) enter in the process the slender gate. For extensive is the gate and wide is the line that ends up in destruction, and many enter via it. yet small is the gate and slender the line that ends up in lifestyles, and in basic terms some discover it. `

That darn straight and narrow path. Wouldn't it be easier to take the wider one? Yes, but the wide one doesn't actually lead anywhere.

"The straight and narrow, not for those with bad balance." lol

I go where ever God leads me. It's much easier that way. It may not always seem clear at the time, but God finds a way of letting you know.
